I truly had a great day at school. I hope and pray that your day was nice. It is comforting to have the Declaration test behind us. I know you all feel the same.

6th/ 7th History: Complete your study sheet of the Revolution time line entries.
Your test will be on Friday.
Read pages 67-80 in GWW.

Literature: Finish essays for Johnny Tremain.
Please remember rough and final drafts.

Science: Wasn't the Mars rover video great? Watch some more at home with your parent's permission. That particular video was on You Tube.
Answer questions on pages 228-229 in your book. Please keep in mind the book and its focus.

6th/7th History: Declaration quiz on Friday.

Literature: Begin essays on Johnny Tremain.
Each essay should have a rough draft and final. Due on Tuesday.
Please bring Paul Revere book to class!

Science: Choose 3 planets. Research and find 5 facts on each that are not listed on our main chart.


9th/10th Grammar:
Using your chosen topic, find one source and created an annotated bibliography sample using your handout. Please call me if you get confused or stumped.
Remember Amanda Brewer from Beaufort County Library will be with us next Tuesday.
Read page 155-156 in your text. Complete Exercise A on page 157.

Declaration quiz on Friday the 27th.
Complete newspaper headline begun in class.
Complete worksheet on Yorktown and the Treaty of Paris.


Literature: Finish reading Johnny Tremain.
Choose your favorite character. Write a character sketch (3 paragraphs) on your favorite character and why. Remember to use examples from the book.
Bring small Paul Revere book to class on Tuesday.

Science: Complete croosword on pages 226-227.

9th/10th Grammar: Final draft of persuasion paper.
Research for topic for research paper. ----American Revolution.


6th/ 7th History: Read Chapter 25 of SOW.
Work on Declaration memorization. ( Feb 27)
Research and add to time line: Yorktown, Swamp Fox, Cornwallis.

Literature: Read pages 230-274 in Johnny Tremain.

Science: Continue planet chart. Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus. ( We will finish Pluto in class)
Include rotation, revolution, atmosphere,temperature and one interesting fact.

It was a really nice day at school. I was thankful that we were able to eat lunch in the nice weather. I am looking forward to warm days.
