Hope you all had a good day at school. I really enjoyed the exhibit and our visitor.


6th/7th History: Please make a map of the Lexington and Concord area. Include, Boston, Boston Harbor and Charles River. Please come ready to discus Chapter 22 and 23 of SOW.

Literature: Read pages 1-53 in Johnny Tremain. If you do not have the school-issued book, please read the first two sections.


Science: Complete the charts on pages 194 and 195. Only fill in distance from sun, diameter, length of revolution , length of day and number of satellites.

I was so thankful for all of you today. You are so smart and I was so proud of you today.

6th/7th History: Read and complete handout on Unjust Acts by Parliament.
You only have to answer the questions on the "worksheet".
Work on your memorization of the Declaration.

Literature: Memorization of "I Wandered..." Quiz will be next Friday.
Write summary of "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" in journal.

Science: Complete pages 188-189.

9th/10th Grammar: Listen to the "Oath of Office" for the president and write you explanation of each point. This should be at least 300 words.
If you have outstanding work--please get it to me ASAP!


Remember Night of the Reapers on Friday and Saturday night. Your parents may call me for deatils.

I trust you all had a good day at school. It was nice to see you all. I know that we have a lot of work to do, but please take your time and do one assignment at a time. Just allow yourself plenty of time and be diligent.

9/10th Grammar and Composition: Review the beginning of Chapter 4 on Expository Essays.
Page 114.
Choose and narrow a topic for an expository essay.
Complete a rough draft before class. (300-400)

6/7th Grade History: Project papers due on the 13th.
Begin memorization of Declaration.
Read Chapter 18 of SOW.
