What nice day we had at school before the holiday. I enjoyed everything. Thank you for your participation in the skit. It was great fun.

Do music activity on page 103 and record in book.

9th/10th Grammar/Comp: Complete 3 word outline for Excalibur essay.
Rewrite essay from outline.

Thank you so much to all who participated in the History Hunt. I think it was a great success.
Thanks to all the parents who volunteered and made it possible to do something like this.
We have one week until Thanksgiving. I hope and pray that you will take a moment to be Thankful.
We have freedoms that others in the world could only imagine. Our greatest freedom, of course, comes from knowing the one true God who gave Himself for us. Please take time to be thankful!

History- Map quiz on 13 colonies.
Read John Adams account in GWW. Pages 12-14.

Literature- Finish reading Squanto. Write a short summary on the book
Journal entries.

Science- Read pages 99-101.

Mrs.Fowler's Assignments

It was a great day at school. I am so thankful for each of you. I hope you will all seriously consider
helping to provide chickens for Africa. I want this to be our project, not your parents. If you are willing to participate, ask your parents about a way you can help. I know God will provide the means.

9/10 Grammar/ Comp- Write a paper describing your room. This should be a serious descriptive paper.
Read pages 346-347 in the text. Be ready to discuss the details.

History6/7: 7th graders please choose a person from GWW as the subject of your next research project.
Everyone- Read Chapter 12 of SOW.
Read pages 5-9 in GWW.

Literature: Be ready to write the final draft of an essay in class. You will need to discuss one of the themes of the book with examples from the text. You may bring a first draft to class.
I know you are sad to be leaving Sign of the Beaver. Here are some other books by the same author:

The Calico Captive
These are all favorites of mine.
