Another week has passed, and I am thankful for knowing each of you.
I hope you did not eat too much candy and that you brushed your teeth very well.

I will be available at the library on Monday morning from 9:30-1o:30 for a history review. This is certainly not mandatory and is for those students who feel the need for extra help.


History: Quiz on Chapter 9 and 10 of SOW.
Please bring George Washington's World to class.
Many of you have a copy at the school. I will distribute these on Tuesday.
Review at library on Monday morning.

Literature: Yes, you have permission to finish the book (Sign of the Beaver). Be ready for a detailed discussion in class.
Please complete your journal entries.

Science: Try the refraction activity at home and draw the results. (page 76)
Read pages 76-77. Please enter all bold words in your notebook.

9th/10th Comp: Please correct and rewrite your narrative. You must turn in original and final draft next week.
Read page 342-343 in your text. Be prepared for definition quiz on Limiting adjectives, indefinite pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, interrogative pronouns, possessive nouns and pronouns, and descriptive pronouns. Once you know the definitions, we can discuss them intelligently in class.

6/7 History: Complete time line of the Thirty Years War. Read Chapter 10 of SOW.

Literature: Read Chapters 17 ,18 and 19 of Sign of the Beaver.

Literature: DO NOT READ ON IN SIGN OF THE BEAVER.
I know you will all be tempted, but try to wait on the rest of the class.
Please complete the assigned pages of the Lit. sheets for homework.

Science: Finish the Physics sheet that we began in class.

9/10 Comp. Write a two page narrative with 16 adjectives present ( this should not include articles). Please be descriptive, but realistic. You must describe an event or an idea. This should be a finished product.
Please keep in mind penalties for late papers.
