Read pages 1-30 of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
Keep a character list of the main characters with a BRIEF explanation aboout them

Read Chapter 4 of Story of the World.


Math:
Complete the Mixed Practice (odds) for Lesson 15 and do the Practice Set for Lesson 16.

WANTED! Artistic Mom.

Writing:
Please write a one page paper on a family activity done in the Fall.
You must use a clausal starter and obey the banned word list.


History Lit I:

Remember your B vocabulary quiz on Thursday.
Look up Tolkien and be able to tell a little about him.
Write a 11/2 page story (fiction) about life in a monastery.
Elements that must be present:
physical surroundings
spiritual content (what were they learning)
a description of a job done in the monastery.


Math:
Lesson 13 Odd problems from the Mixed Practice
Lesson 14 Even Problems form the Mixed Practice


Science:
Enter the rest of the bold words for Module I in notebook.
Be ready to finish review cards.
TEST next Tuesday.
Look up Quakers. What do they believe?

Complete "On Your Own" 1.6 page 16.
Research Copernicus. What did he discover? What did he believe? How does it help us today?

History Lit I: Write a 2-3 parpagraph summary for Chapters 1 and 2 of Story of the World
This means 2-3 paragraphs for EACH chapter.
Write and compare the story of Beowulf to David and Goliath.
You will find this in I Samuel 17.

Math 7/6: Finish the even problems in the Problem Set for Lesson 7 and Complete the Problem Set for Lesson 8.

Finish "On Your Own" page 12 (1.4 and 1.5)
Begin to review for quiz on Tuesday. ( I will provide a study sheet on Thursday)
Get ready for Experiment 1.3.
If you volunteered for any ingredients please do not forget them.

Writing- Write a key word outline of the "Mount Rushmore" article
Do a verbal reconstruction using your key word outline.
Write a paragraph on the "Mount" article using your outline.
Finish your work on the " Statue " article.


Science- Work on notebook.

Answer "On Your Own" from page 8. (1.2 and 1.3)

This has no specific length, but should be at least a page.
